Garage Door Panel Repair in Spokane, WA

A dented or cracked panel is one of the few garage door problems that's purely cosmetic — the door can usually still open and close fine — but left alone, a damaged panel lets moisture in, throws off the door's insulation value, and often gets worse over a Spokane winter as freeze-thaw cycles work at the cracked seam or exposed edge. Backed-into doors, hail and windstorm damage, and worn weatherstripping around the bottom panel are the most common reasons we get called out for panel work.
Repairing a section instead of the whole door
Most sectional garage doors are built from three to five horizontal panels, and in most cases only one or two panels take the damage. Rather than replacing the entire door, we source a matched replacement panel from the original manufacturer when the door is still in production, or the closest matching profile and color when it isn't. Matching matters here — panel ridges, color, and window cutouts vary enough between manufacturers that a poorly matched panel is obvious from the street.
When panel repair isn't the right call
If the door is old enough that the manufacturer no longer makes a matching panel, or if more than half the door has damage, a patch job usually costs more over time than it saves. We'll tell you plainly if that's the case rather than installing a mismatched panel that won't hold up. In that situation we'll walk you throughnew door installationoptions instead.
Weatherstripping and seals
Panel repair visits are also a good time to check the bottom astragal seal and side weatherstripping, since both wear out around the same age as a panel and both matter for keeping Spokane's cold air and moisture out of the garage. We can replace these at the same time as a panel swap, or on their own if the panels themselves are still in good shape.
